Back in the US of A!!!

I'm officially back from my six-month graphic design adventure in North Africa. I'm headed up to Pacific Northwest College of Art very soon and am super excited. Also VERY honored to be the winner of the ADC national scholarship for illustration. Basically, I'm happy, optimistic, and ready to draw some really cool stuff!

Yo! My name is Ven Locklear and I like to draw stuff. I'm 20 years of age, and though I am currently working as a graphic designer in Africa, I'll be back in the US in the fall to attend Pacific Northwest College of Art with a major in Illustration. I have a soft-spot for dragons and robots, and I've never really gotten around to drawing people...so you won't see many of them in my gallery. When I grow up (or maybe "if") I want to work in the film and game industry drawing guns, creatures, landscapes and all manner of nifty stuff.

Feel free to browse the gallery and just go nuts with the favs, mkay? ;) I made my deviantart account a long time ago but I've unfortunately never capitalized on it much. But that shall change. Cheers!
